
Greg Clark was appointed senior ULI fellow for Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA ) on November 1, 2007. He is ULI’s first senior fellow outside the US, where the institute has seven senior fellows in residence at its Washington DC base. Clark, 45, has held various non-executive roles including the chairmanships of the OE CD Forum of Cities and Regions and the European Urban Development Forum. He has worked from his London base for 15 years in leadership positions within city agencies, and visited and reviewed over 100 cities and regions worldwide in the past 12 years. Recent assignments include the chairmanship of an inter-governmental group which examined the role of the European Investment Bank in urban investment in Europe. He also recently advised on the European State of the Cities Report for the European Commission, a comparative assessment of Europe’s 250 largest cities. In 2008 he is publishing the results of studies that have been under way for some time.
