What are the templates for?

a. To show customers the relevance of our products, illustrating key scenarios.
b. To help partners build out complete solutions, showing implementation examples.

The templates that are supplied with the Citizen Service Platform can be used for a number of different purposes. Firstly they show how the Microsoft technologies within the CSP can be leveraged to help Local and Regional Governments provide services to their citizens. As we move on we are going to bring in a wider range of Microsoft Products and Platforms to show how when used together they can provide compelling solutions for this sector. Secondly they can be used, customised or extended by partners to help deliver solutions to their customers, or even just provide some inspiration for development. Finally they can be used by partners to understand how to develop on the different Microsoft platforms, and we will use them in Readiness sessions to help understand the underlying technologies.
