Hopefully you have all used the www.microsoftpsdemos.com site to run through the CSP demo’s on the hosted VPC. We are in the process of getting a new image ready, and once we are happy we are going to change the image. From a functional point of view, there is nothing new on the image (you are going to have to wait a few weeks for that); however it will allow you to download a copy of the image to use locally.
The one side effect of this, is that we have to delete any saved images that you may have. Once the new image is there, you can re-create them, but I thought I would give you some advanced warning.
Thanks
James
CSP will be featured in a number of ways at the Microsoft Worldwide Partner Conference in Houston, Texas July 7-10.
Firstly, there will be a session in the Industry Partner Forum on 7th July on CSP (Session number: IPF030) which will give you a great sales, technical and partner overview perspective of CSP. The session will be led by Cathy Maras; James Brown will cover off the architecture piece and I will talk about the CSP Partner program. We will also be featuring an exciting demo from Infusion Development covering showcasing their JEPRS (Joint Emergency Response Planning System) which is integrated into CSP.
Also, we will have an instructor led session which will give you an overview of the CSP Architecture, the templates and a walk through the demo VPC. This will be run by James Brown and myself on 7th July in Room 350A.
If you want to just work through the demo script and the demo VPC on your own, this will be available from Mon 7th to Thursday 10th – just head for the Hands on Labs to get your hands on session. If you have any CSP specific questions, just ask one of the Hands on Lab staff and they will make sure one of us gets in touch with you.
Finally on the Microsoft Public Sector booth, the CSP demo will be available if you just want to take a quick look.
All in all, quite a lot happening and we look forward to seeing you in Houston.
